T-RICH
Tampa Regional Intermodal Carbon Hub
Aptamus was awarded funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in September 2024 to conduct a pre-FEED study of an intermodal CO2 hub in the Port of Tampa Bay. The study considered CO2 liquefaction to prepare it for tranport on a marine vessel, as well as 30,000 m3 of temporary storage.

Aptamus has conditionally approved funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to expand on the T-RICH pre-FEED study to more fully develop T-RICH, as well as fully define the CO2-carrying ship and the discharge and regassification terminal in Louisiana.

Onboard Carbon Capture & Storage
Aptamus completed a pre-FEED study funded by the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD). The study looked at the installation of a carbon capture & storage plant onboard one of OSG’s existing tankers, capable of capturing approximately half of the tanker’s CO2 emissions.
